Your right to privacy and security is of the utmost importance to The Old Time Gospel. The Old Time Gospel does not share or in any other way use information collected during your use of our website without your permission except as outlined in this policy. We do not sell, exchange or trade customer information with other vendors, trade organizations, direct marketers, or actually, anyone, unless required by law. However, you should understand that while it is our intent to hold private the information you transmit via our website or e-mail, The Old Time Gospel and/or its affiliates cannot promise or ensure that such information will remain confidential or secure. Information Sharing. Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law; wherein, we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our website.

Aggregate Information. The Old Time Gospel may share aggregated demographic information (not personally identifiable) with partners and advertisers. This information contains our number of monthly page views or "hits", search strings resulting in visits to the site, types of browser software favored by our users and the site's most popular pages. This is not linked to any personally identifiable information.

Links. The Old Time Gospel website contains links to other sites. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site to read the privacy statements of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by this website.

E-mail. E-mail is not a secure method of transmitting data. Under no circumstances should e-mail ever be used to transmit personal identity information that could be used by individuals engaged in identity theft. Personal identity information that should not be transmitted by e-mail includes your credit card numbers, driver's license number, social security number, pin numbers, and so on.

READING THE BIBLE

1.   READ THE BIBLE WITH AN EARNEST DESIRE TO UNDERSTAND IT.
Do not be content to just read the words of Scripture. Seek to grasp the message they contain.

2.   READ THE SCRIPTURES WITH A SIMPLE, CHILDLIKE FAITH AND HUMILITY.
Believe what God reveals. Reason must bow to God's revelation.

3.   READ THE WORD WITH A SPIRIT OF OBEDIENCE AND SELF-APPLICATION.
Apply what God says to yourself and obey His will in all things.

4.   READ THE HOLY SCRIPTURES EVERY DAY.
We quickly lose the nourishment and strength of yesterday's bread. We must feed our souls daily upon the manna God has given us.

5.   READ THE WHOLE BIBLE AND READ IT IN AN ORDERLY WAY.
"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable." I know of no better way to read the Bible than to start at the beginning and read straight through to the end, a portion every day, comparing Scripture with Scripture.

6.   READ THE WORD OF GOD FAIRLY AND HONESTLY.
As a general rule, any passage of Scripture means what it appears to mean. interpret every passage in this simple manner, in its context.

7.   READ THE BIBLE WITH CHRIST CONSTANTLY IN VIEW.
The whole Book is about Him. Look for Him on every page. He is there. If you fail to see Him there, you need to read that page again.
