Leadership Principles
(Thoughts worth thinking about)

The top things on the list will not beg for your time
like the little things.

Right things are always shy.
Wrong things always clamor for your attention.
(Song of Solomon 2:15)

Schedule your time to do what is most important.
(Colossians 4:5)

Beware of wrong imaginations.
(2 Corinthians 10:5)

Do not rationalize a problem away.
Deal with it honestly and openly with god and yourself.

Unsought advice is seldom followed and often resented.

God calls a man to himself
before he will call him to a place.

The sign of a spiritual christian is
not by how he feels about something,
but how obedient is he to god's word.
(1 Samuel 15:22)

Always have a paper and pen handy.

Avoid people who are time wasters.
(Ephesians 5:16)

Use the early morning and late evening hours.
(Early is found 86 times in the bible)

Work the hardest when you are the most alert.
Use travel time wisely.
Plan your day at its beginning.
Don't dwell on minor decisions.
Be flexible.

Find inspiration
(bible, famous people, sermons, etc.)

God gave us two ends:
One to sit on and one to think with.
Success depends upon which one we use most.
Heads we win, tails we lose!

Your companions are like the buttons on an elevator.
They will either take you up or they will take you down.
(Proverbs 13:20; 1 Corinthians 15:33)

A person's character is revealed
by what he does when no one is watching.
(Ephesians 6:6,7)

Some people complain because god put thorns on roses
while others praise him for putting roses on thorns.
(Philippians 4:8)

The bridge you burn now
may be the one you have to cross later.

Conscience is god's built-in warning system.
Be very happy when it hurts you.
Be very worried when it doesn't.

If you do not stand for something
you will fall for anything.

Failure in people is caused more by a lack of determination than lack in talent.

A man is rich according to what he is,
not what he has.

Sometimes we are so busy adding up our troubles
that we forget to count our blessings.

Authority makes some people grow and others just swell.

Be more concerned with what god thinks about you
than what others think about you.

by the amount of opposition that it takes to discourage him.

If the odds are even, where does god get the glory?
Most people spend their lives just quitting on god.

You cannot live on past victories.
